16,000 new IRS agents to be hired. Add "/IRS" to the Homeland Security on the side and change the bottom label to "Insurance Compliance" (ultimately just "Compliance").
Does it not bother anyone that our Government can now legislate behavior? And by having the IRS enforce it non-compliance will be "Taxed" and be legal?

Scotus Decision

     Let's  read this for what it really is: The Government now has license to dictate every part of our lives. By refusing to comply we the public will incur a penalty termed "A Tax", and the Supreme court has  reaffirmed the Governments right to tax. You can bet Romney will see this the same way and will use it to further his own agenda. Freedom has been lost today.
     Next up: "Personal Liability Insurance"??? Or perhaps a mandate to maintain a Lawyer on retainer permanently? Perhaps even the IRS will be hiring out to do Personal Debt Collection? Makes sense as everything they collect can be termed a "Tax". Bet ya didn't think that Cable bill you didn't pay could be a Tax?  Borrow 20 bucks from your neighbor and have an IRS agent on your doorstep to collect? The possibilities are endless.

Gunwalking: The Difference

     While similar in design and intent the two were miles apart in application and result. GWB...no guns lost and NO ONE DIED. Obama...1700 guns "Allowed to cross the border and lost" and Two Federal agents killed and a large number of Mexican citizens killed. The Bush administration wanted to track and apprehend the Mexican drug cartels and the Obama administration wanted to further his "Backdoor Gun Legislation".

Do you own a car, or two? Or a couple of Motorcycles? This is what's now being studied by the CBO. While it says the VMT is only an idea being studied lets not forget how currently the Mood in the Whitehouse is to promote "infrastructure improvements" and well they will need money for that. While the plan makes some sense the implementation is unrealistic. Not that it says "could be tracked by installing electronic equipment on each car". Now that means "every single vehicle in the country". This device would have to be a GPS unit which would track the vehicle's movements everywhere it went. Consider the possibilities.

!. A nationwide database of every driver in the country which must also have personal information (ie: financial information for billing) .

2. An agency to track and maintain ALL (254.4 million registered passenger vehicles in the United States according to a 2007 DOT study.) the vehicles in the us.

3. The possibility of GPS based traffic enforcement . Rickey, how many people have they fired for traffic infractions via the GPS system? Just think.....You're speeding, intentionally or not. The VMT system notes and registers this and generates a traffic citation. They can either sent a ticket to the vehicle owner of record or more likely deduct the fine the next time you get gas. 

3. Equipping the local DMV's to install, maintain and enforce the mandatory equipping of GPS devices to every vehicle in their state.

4. Not to mention the possibility of each state or municipality adding their own surcharges to the fees collected.


    You may laugh and think the idea is rediculous but the technology exists right now. It's merely the implementation that remains.

A FAUX PAS

In AZ right now there is a piece of pending legislation regarding a person's right to protect themselves from harm. It basically allows licensed concealed carry permit holders to carry their weapons in any building (including government buildings) in the state UNLESS:
A. They have an Armed Security Guard AND:
they have "secure storage" for your weapons.
Now this morning one of the local news station was discussing the possibility of this bill making it to law. The two acknowledged liberal (station has recently undergone a "Demographics" change to liberal anchors and politically correct format)were discussing the possibly catastrophic results of allowing people to carry weapons in all public buildings. All was going according to plan with a general condemnation of the proposed bill until one of the few remaing older original anchors pipes up with "Seems like a good idea to me as I can't ever remember a mass killer ever attacking a place where there were a bunch of armed people." "Kinda like a mass killer with a rifle attacking the local shooting range"......AWKWARD SILENCE.But he had a good point. I predict his days as a news anchor at that station are numbered.

Seen a guy today that i useta ride with. we had some words an i aint seen him in two years. he says "how ya doin?" i noticed he's wearin an "soa" colors t-shirt with a long island bottom rocker on it. Told him "i'm fuckin great...you're obviously pathetic!" guess i won't see him again for a few more years???? FUCK THEM POSERS!
